Electrician said "I did good"!
We haven't had to use it yet but since we want a connection to our electrical box so we don't have to use extension wires for everything, we had our electrician check it out - he said it's a great generator and couldn't believe the price I got it for. I will update this review if we ever have the need to use it do a test run once the electrical stuff is completed. UPDATE: Finally got to use the generator and we are totally satisfied! Runs great, easy to start, not too noisy (I think it's quieter than the gas generators that were running in the neighborhood). Only had to run it a few hours but had no problems using it. Would highly recommended this generator.
Awesome genny for the price.
I bought this in 2016 but it didn't arrive in time for Matthew. I never unbowed it until 2017 for Irma. Assembly was quick and easy. I didn't expect the electric start to work since it had been sitting for a year. Lo and behold I turned the key and she fired right up. She ran for around eight hours on a 20 lb tank.
Don't let the price fool you!
I purchased this generator to use when the power goes off, I have health issues so to be able to run the whole house on this is wonderful. I like that it will run the whole house and having it propane Im able to store it in the laundry room off the back porch were its easy to start keeps it warm and no gas smell. I put it together with a little help hooked up the battery and wheeled it out onto the back porch and attached the propane to it ( oops dont forget to add the oil , takes about 2 quarts 10-30 ) wow started right up without even charging the battery just turned the key. Really nice to have the electric start. even my neighbors were impressed with its power and for the price its perfect! !!.What I don't like is the oil fill really difficult to put oil in we had to kind of tip the machine a little to add oil, a longer tube and dip stick to add oil would really make it perfect. I would buy it again.
